This miter vise is used for holding wire and sheet up to 11mm wide at both 45 degrees and 90 degrees.

One of the handiest and most used, practical tools in your studio, this miter vise is used for holding wire and sheet up to 6mm (1/4") thick and 34mm (1-3/8") wide at both 45 degrees and 90 degrees. Cut and file consistent, 90 and 45 degree angles in all metals to ensure clean fitting solder joints. Swiss-style, made of hardened steel. A stop bar is included to perform consistent cuts repeatedly.

"i found the vise extremly difficult to use at first. It was very difficult to make the individual sections. After sliding them back and forth for 5days they finally loosened enough so I could try it out. It makes a perfect 90 degree angle. I am very pleased with the end result but it is still difficult to use. I would suggest before sending the product that you try to loosen the movable parts."
