Uses
|
This paste is perfect for use with glass, sterling silver and settings. Use to create texture, fill cracks and mend seams.
|
Workability
|
Art Clay Silver paste is a low fire, slow dry clay. If the clay becomes stiff during use add a few drops of distilled water and knead well. This clay has an 8-9% shrinkage. This product dries four times slower, giving the artist more time to form pieces.
|
Embedded Objects
|
Any object that can withstand the firing temperatures and times noted below below can be embedded and fired in place. This includes glass, some natural gemstones, lab gems, cubic zirconia and porcelain. Check out our Gemstone Firing Guide for details on a specific stone.
