Mica Powder
Mica powders are non-tarnishing and universal. They can be combined with virtually any medium and applied as a paint or glaze, creating a glowing metallic luster. Mica powders may be flash gilded by dusting over a water-based or oil-based gilding adhesive. Change the background color and mica powders take on different hues. Lessen the amount of powder in the medium, and the surface becomes translucent with an appearance of great depth.
Patina
The color(s) achieved by a specific patina solution depends upon the metal or alloy to which it is applied, the age and the strength of the patina mixture, the time and temperature of the exposure, and the process used to apply the solution. Cool Tools offers liver of sulfur in a solid lump form and in a stabilized gel, called Patina Gel. These two products are perhaps the most widely used patinas by jewelry artists for silver, copper, bronze and brass. 24K Gold Painting Powder For Silver
Use 24K Gold Painting Powder to accent your silver pieces. Add value and real gold beauty to your fine silver and sterling silver pieces with this easy to use gold painting powder. Paint on with a paint brush and bond with a torch or kiln. 1 gram of 24K gold goes a long way, and co-firing and fusing makes the process quick, fun and profitable!
Silk Screens
A variety of media may be used with silk screens – including, chalks, pigments, liquid clay, inks, paints and mica powders. Try mixing media where painted, inked and other colored back grounds are screened over. Use one or more screens to create unique looks.
Swellegant
The Swellegant line is made up of 5 Metal Coatings, 3 Patinas, 13 Dye Oxides and a Clear Sealant perfect for adding color to your creations! Each product can be used alone or together to mix and match for endless design possibilities. All the Swellegant products can easily be painted on with a brush and used with a variety of products. Swellegant has low or no odor and washes up with soap and warm water. All of the products are non-hazardous. Shake all the bottles very thoroughly each time before use.
Vintaj
Give your jewelry, craft items and art pieces a faux, aged or colorful look with Vintaj Patinas. These are permanent, fast drying inks that are specially formulated to adhere to metal surfaces. To create beautiful and durable patina effects, apply in small amounts using a paint brush. Apply secondary colors to create layered effects. Blot with a soft cloth or remove patina from raised areas with polishing papers or polishing pads. For added durability, Vintaj patinas can be heated with a torch or kiln to set.

Powder Coating
Powder coating is an accessible way of adding vibrant colors to your jewelry pieces. Dip or sift colors onto clean metal and bake in a toaster oven. Heat metal at curing temperature of powder coating for 10 minutes before application. Powder coat any metal, fired metal clay, glass, plastic, wood, etc.
