Using Kiln Wash

Keeping your kiln shelf clean is important to ensure your creations fire properly. During the firing process, glass, enamels, glazes and other materials can stick to your ceramic shelf. Anything that sticks to the shelf would need to be ground away, leaving a gouge on an expensive shelf. Kiln Wash is an inexpensive and easy solution to maintaining your kiln furniture. Please note we now sell Paragon Kiln Wash instead of Orton shown in the video.
