Lortone tumblers are designed to handle the weight of stainless steel shot and are used widely in the jewelry industry, so you can depend upon this machine to last for many years. Tumble finishing is the easy way to put a shine on metal clay jewelry. While in the tumbler, pieces are work hardened, which is a good thing for fired metal clay pieces.
Lortone delivers quiet operation, quality construction and fast tumbling action. The tumbler we use in our own studio! Rubber barrel has a 3lb capacity. Fill with 1 - 2lbs of stainless steel shot.

"This is my first tumbler and I am very pleased with it. So far, it has done a great job of burning larger pieces such as cuff bracelets and very tiny earring components. I sealed the rubber with a flat can of coke as recommended so hopefully that will prolong the barrel's longevity. It's much quieter than I anticipated. The lack of a timer isn't a problem because I just use the one in my phone."
