Wonderstone (sometimes referred to with geographical or other adjectives such as Nevada Wonderstone) - a thinly banded rock. The banding involves one or more of the following colors: off-white, reddish brown, orangish yellow, yellow-brown, purplish brown, medium brown, and dark gray to nearly black. Rhyolite a form of Jasper, was named "streaming rock" because of its beautiful bands, bubbles and crystal-rich layers that form as lava flows onto the surface of stone and moves forward.
