Artist, Instructor and Silhouette Curio expert, Cindy Pope started out with Precious Metal Clay Rio certification and metalsmithing classes and is one of Hadar Jacobson’s first Cadre of Base Metal Accredited teachers. When Saul Bell Award winner Wanaree Tanner came out with the concept of cutting and etching metal clay with a machine designed for paper called the Silhouette, Cindy jumped on board with the new technology and has become one of the most recognized teachers in the field internationally.

In the first video below, Cindy gives detailed, step by step instruction using the Silhouette Curio to create unique bezel wire for natural stones that require setting after firing. This video includes the details on creating the design in the Curio software and pasting the bezel wire to a pendant back. Please note: This video uses the old version of FS999. The new FS999 formula has a 13% shrinkage rate.
