Patterned Wire - Leaves #5

Use this elegant patterned brass wire to make a gorgeous cuff bracelet in a snap or cut pieces from it for a variety of designs.

Co-fire with bronze clay. Can be soldered using low temperature silver solder to incorporate with other brass stampings, settings, sheet metals and other materials. View our videos below on tips for low temperature soldering, creating earrings and working with Gilders Paste.

This product is sold in 6" lengths. Due to variations in patterns, we do not guarantee a complete end to end pattern. If you need a longer length, we can cut into 1 foot or longer sections if available. Please call customer service or simply specify any requirements in the order notes.

Please note: Patterned brass wire is custom cut and is not returnable.

Brass can be colored using oxidizing agents, heat, colored pencils, paints, inks, resins, Gilders Paste and other products. Before applying any of these surface treatments, be sure the metal is clean.

The process of manufacturing this brass material leaves oils and residue that should be cleaned off. A good cleaning solution can be made from dish soap, ammonia and water.

Make about 4 cups of solution at a time. 4 cups water, a squirt of dish soap and about 2 tablespoons of ammonia. This will make a potent degreasing solution for brass. Use the toothbrush to get into detailed areas.
