.999 Fine Silver Cloisonné Wire measures 1mm x .1mm and is flexible and strong. Ideal for creating bezels, for creating cloisons (compartments) for enamel work and for making bails, flat jump rings and handmade chain. Cloisonné is a very fine wire strip that forms the borders between the different enamel colors. These delicate strips of wire are soldered to a metal back in the shape of a design, and the resulting cellular spaces are filled with enamels. Use different colors to create beautiful designs.
