Sharp Texturing and Raising Hammer

The Sharp Texturing and Raising Hammer is for rings and other surfaces when sharp parallel hammered textures are needed. It can also be used to make extreme tight curves when raising portions of jewelry. Made of 420 stainless steel and Padauk wood.

Raising is the compression of metal down to the stake without stretching it. The technique is to angle the metal off the stake so there is an air gap for the compression of the metal.
