This plug is used to protect the Viewing Window (Viewport) on the Evenheat Kingpin 88 and Paragon SC model kilns when firing over 1700F. Viewports are made of very expensive ceramic glass and they are rated to 1700F. If the kiln is fired above 1700F, the glass can become permanently hazy. By plugging the window opening during a high temperature firing, you will protect the glass from hazing. Please measure the window of your kiln. This plug fits a 1x2 in Viewport.
