Patterned Strip - Brass - Serpentine - 6 inches

Use this elegant patterned brass wire to make a gorgeous cuff bracelet in a snap or cut pieces from it for a variety of designs.

Co-fire with bronze clay. Can be soldered using low temperature silver solder to incorporate with other brass stampings, settings, sheet metals and other materials.

This product is sold by a 6" length. We do not guarantee a complete end to end pattern. Pattern will repeat based on the particular design. Ends may not match. If you need a longer length, we can cut into 1 foot sections, however you must call or add to your order notes for this special request. Patterned Brass wire is custom cut and is not returnable.

Use as a bracelet blank for adding metal clay and other components or cut strips and pieces.

Brass can be colored using oxidizing agents, heat, colored pencils, paints, inks, resins, Gilders Paste and other products. Before applying any of these surface treatments, be sure the metal is clean.

The process of manufacturing this brass material leaves oils and residue that should be cleaned off. A good cleaning solution can be made from dish soap, ammonia and water.

Make about 4 cups of solution at a time. 4 cups water, a squirt of dish soap and about 2 tablespoons of ammonia. This will make a potent degreasing solution for brass. Use the toothbrush to get into detailed areas.

Use a food storage container that is large enough to hold a toothbrush. Keep the toothbrush in the water and the lid on the container when not in use. This is a great all purpose metal cleaning solution.
