Natural Parrot Wing Chrysocolla Pendants
This form of Chrysocolla is in fact a form of silica, a quartz that has been colored by Chrysocolla. It gets the name Parrot Wing because of the intense colors reminiscent of a Parrot. It is a mixture of Chrysocolla and Azurite with some Jasper in Quartz feature brilliant patterns unlike any other stone. This Chrysocolla mixed with jasper is very rare and sought by many jewelers.
Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper silicate mineral with traces of oxides of copper, iron and manganese and occurs as a compact, grape-like group.
