Aura 22 is a 22K gold embellishment that is painted onto fired or unfired fine silver clay. It can also be fused to sterling silver that has been depletion gilded. Aura 22 is applied with a paint brush and is bonded using a kiln or hand held torch. Aura 22 is 91.6% pure gold and 8.4% fine silver.

22K gold embellishment for sterling and fine silver.




Uses Aura 22 is ideally suited to work with all versions of PMC and metal clay. It can also be used on wrought fine silver and on sterling that has been properly prepared.  It works especially well on heavily textured surfaces.
Workability Aura 22 requires no special equipment and because it can be painted on offers gestural responses unlike other gold layering processes.
Embedded Objects Any object that can withstand the firing temperatures of 850F for 30 minutes can be fired.
