This is a special european model with an BS 1363 A Plug used in the UK and some other places. Tumble finishing is the easy way to put a shine on metal clay jewelry. While in the tumbler, pieces are work hardened, which is a good thing for metal clay. Fill the barrel with 1lb minimum and 2lbs maximum stainless steel shot. Add your metal clay items (brass brush them first). Pour in enough distilled water to cover the shot, add 1 drop of a mild dish-soap (such as Ivory or original Dawn) as a burnishing compound, put the top on and place on the rollers. In an hour or two your pieces will be sparkling and shiny.
