Gloves in a bottle seals the outer layer of skin so that metal clay does not stick to your hands, and if you are using bronze or copper clays, will protect your skin from irritation and staining. Apply the lotion and allow to dry. Your hands will not stick to the clay and they will not stain. Rub it under your fingernails too! Use on hands, surfaces and tools without texture.

Gloves in a Bottle is not designed to be used as a release for textures. Using a heavy-bodied or viscous fluids leaves gunk in the nooks and crannies of a texture, making images less crisp and textures muddy. Use a mist of Cool Slip which is made as a release for textures.
