Fine silver wire is .999 silver.
Fine silver can be co-fired in silver clay with no preparation. Embed the wire and fire. When embedding wire, rough up the end the goes into the clay so that as it shrinks, it has something to grip to and hold.
Fine silver can be work hardened by stretching, twisting, rolling, hammering, tumbling, etc., but it can not be heat hardened.
