This is an excellent new model for firing metal clay. It's flame is fixed to a perfect flame for firing metal clay. Uses inexpensive butane fuel. It has a built in igniter and reaches a maximum temperature of 2370F. Fire any form or type of metal clay with this torch*. This torch is also a perfect tool for quick and easy soldering on items like jump rings, chains, balling wire, and attaching findings to metal clay. The torch is safe to use and easy to operate. It has a 60 minute burn time per fill.

Because butane is a flammable liquid, it incurs steep hazardous materials shipping surcharges for us to ship. It is more cost effective for you to purchase this fuel locally since it is readily available at any drug store nationwide. For this reason, we do not offer the butane fuel.

*PMC Standard requires 2 hours at 1650F for sintering. While torch firing is possible, I don't know a soul who's done it.
